Nach dem Verkauf von Cinzano an die Gruppo Caffo 1915 trennt sich die Campari Group nun auch von Averna. In einem Paket mit dem Mirto Zedda Piras geht die für ihren Amaro Siciliano bekannte Kultmarke für einen Betrag von 100 Millionen Euro an Illva Saronno.
Amaro Siciliano in neuen Händen
Die Vereinbarung beider Parteien beinhalten, dass die Campari Group vorerst die Produktion und die Distribution des Averna Amaro Siciliano fortführen wird, bis Illva Saronno entsprechende Strukturen geschaffen hat – das soll noch in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2026 der Fall sein. Ursprünglich sollte auch der Amaro Braulio verkauft werden, dieser verbleibt aber bei Campari.
